DC Sprint Triathlon Race Report

First Post:

This is my first blog post ever. I’m kind of new at this so I’d appreciate any feedback.

Race Recap:

My pre race meal was steak and oysters from Ebbitt. My family was in town for father’s day so we went out to celebrate. This protein rich meal is a little different than my traditional macaroni and cheese. I did sneak in a Georgetown Cupcake for dessert to get some carbs.

Race morning started bright and early at 5:00am. I got up and packed my things to set up the transition area before it closed at 6. After a quick bike ride from Georgetown (my warm up) I was in the middle of the energy packed start/transition area.
